About Arada
Arada is a private developer based in Sharjah. It was set up in early 2017 as a joint venture between Basma Group, the Sharjah company of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, and KBW Investments, set up by the Saudi investor Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal. Sheikh Sultan is its chairman and Prince Khaled its vice-chairman. It started out building mid-market homes.
Its first project was Nasma Residences, a villa and townhouse community in Sharjah launched in March 2017. It handed over the first homes there in May 2019. Its largest project is Aljada, a 24 million sq ft community near Sharjah International Airport launched in September 2017. Aljada's first 210 flats were handed over in January 2021, and by March 2024 more than 7,500 homes there were complete. In 2021 it launched Masaar, a villa community in Sharjah's Suyoh area. In January 2026 it said it had delivered more than 10,000 homes since 2017.
Its first Dubai project was Jouri Hills, 294 villas and townhouses in Jumeirah Golf Estates, launched in November 2022. Since then it has launched higher-priced branded towers in Dubai, including W Residences at Dubai Harbour and Akala near DIFC.
It has also expanded abroad. It entered Australia in 2024, and in September 2025 it bought 75% of the London developer Regal.
Where they build
Dubai Harbour and DIFC have the most of their projects, and 2 other areas have the rest.
They sell at the top of the market. Half their projects start above AED 4.1M, where the middle project on our site starts at AED 1.3M.
Booking is cheap with them: 4 of 5 plans ask for 10% or less up front.
They tend to price below the resale market: 2 of the 3 projects we checked start below the usual price per square foot of similar homes sold through Dubai Land Department, typically by about 21%.
Their record
Dubai Land Department lists no finished projects for Arada yet, and 2 under construction.
Prices and payment plans
