One of the city's oldest districts, on the west bank of Dubai Creek, where the metro, schools and hospitals are already close by. The two towers we list are new flats in streets of older buildings.

Bur Dubai works without a car: five metro stations on the Red and Green Lines are within about 2 km of the centre in a straight line. DXB is 7.9 km away and Burj Khalifa 5.7 km. The trade-off is a dense, older district, with heavy traffic and tight parking.

Is there a metro in Bur Dubai?
Yes, several. ADCB is 1.1 km from the centre in a straight line, Max (formerly Al Jafiliya) and Sharaf DG (formerly Al Fahidi) 1.6 km, BurJuman 1.9 km and Al Ghubaiba 2.0 km. BurJuman is on both the Red and Green Lines.
Is Bur Dubai good for families?
It suits families who want to be central and are happy in a flat. Both projects go up to four bedrooms. Ambassador School is 0.2 km from the centre, New Academy School (US) 0.5 km and The Indian High School 2.9 km. International Modern Hospital is 0.4 km away and Aster Hospital 0.6 km. The downside is space: the parks close by are small, and the nearest big one, Zabeel Park, is 1.7 km away.
When will the new towers be finished?
Avenue Park Towers is due in September 2029 and Portside Square in December 2029. Unlike a new district, the area around them already has shops, clinics and schools within 2 km.
How far is it to the main business districts?
Dubai World Trade Centre is 2.6 km away and DIFC 3.8 km, in a straight line, and the Red Line from ADCB or Max runs past both. Downtown Dubai is 5.9 km away.
