About Deyaar
Deyaar is a Dubai developer listed on the Dubai Financial Market. It was set up in 2001, began operating in 2003 and listed after its IPO in 2007. Dubai Islamic Bank is its main shareholder.
Its completed projects include The Atria, a pair of towers in Business Bay with apartments and hotel apartments, and Mont Rose in Dubai Science Park. It handed over both in 2018. It launched Afnan and Dania, the first districts of Midtown in Dubai Production City, in 2015 and 2016. In April 2026 it handed over Jannat, the last Midtown district, with Regalia, a 913-unit tower in Business Bay, and Talia Residences in Al Furjan. In 2023 it launched Mar Casa, its first tower in Dubai Maritime City.
It also manages buildings and owners' associations for other owners. By 2018 its property management arm looked after more than 24,000 units. Millennium Hotels runs its hotel projects.
In January 2009, during the financial crisis, it put its unsold projects on hold. In 2019 a Dubai court ordered the developer Limitless to repay Deyaar Dh411.9 million in a land dispute.
Where they build
Dubai Production City and Al Furjan have the most of their projects, and 3 other areas have the rest.
They tend to price below the resale market: 4 of the 5 projects we checked start below the usual price per square foot of similar homes sold through Dubai Land Department, typically by about 10%.
Booking is cheap with them: 6 of 7 plans ask for 10% or less up front.
Their plans leave most of the bill for the end. In 5 of 7, half the price or more is due on handover, so less of your money sits in a building that isn't finished.
Their record
Dubai Land Department lists 24 finished projects by Deyaar, and 6 under construction.
23 of the 24 were finished by the completion date DLD holds now. DLD replaces that date when a project is given more time and keeps no earlier dates, so this can't show which ones ran late.
